Lives in North Carolina, looking for adventure
With an upbringing rooted in travel and patience, Sarah Fuselier experiences a world of art in every place she has explored. She is always capturing the beauty of nature in the new environments around her, and the people and experiences gathered along the way. Staring outside the car windows long enough, she began to navigate her own mind, thus evolving to stretch beyond everyday life.
Her goal is to connect individuals and imbue them with the ingenuity and fantasy involved in our daily lives. She is capturing the human experience in her work, what it feels like to learn new things, meet new people, and explore the world around us and the vision she sees inside each person she meets. She will tackle each problem head on as she searches for the most efficient solution. She has developed her skills through countless methods - from traditional fine art to digital platforms. These materials soothe her soul and spark new ideas, allowing her to connect wonders and oddities with real world concepts in her illustrations. She gravitates to fine detailed work, which has found her new, creative ways to use the materials on hand and nurture her whimsical imagination.
Sarah’s love of illustration, especially food and advertising developed from a young age, and after spending a year at Johnson and Wales University’s Baking and Pastry program, she missed her love of drawing, and continued through her education experience at Savannah College of Art and Design. Working with food has pushed her desire to explore the bounds of art, and the ingenuity of the human mind. With these goals in mind, she hopes to bring smiles and ideas to those around her work.
